Cover Songs by Me: "Risky Business" (The Cab)

I played all the instruments (except drums, as per usual). Please take the time to listen, comment, and rate the cover!

And, while you're at it... take a listen to The Cab! They're an awesome band from Las Vegas, Nevada, and got a lot of potential.

"The Ocean" by Tegan & Sara

So tonight, I covered "The Ocean". This school year hasn't been kind to my music life. So, now that I'm very close to be finished, I decided to get right back into it.

I'm a little rusty with my bass. I haven't played in a few months. I used my little bro's Tak, because our Fender has relocated to a new home with my older brother. SIGH. The Tak hurts my wrist. I'm a Fender/Yamaha girl for life.

One day, I swear I will be able to play drums well. I swear, one day, I'll have space to learn them. lol.

What Do You Want From Me? o-you-want-from-me

For a detailed blog about the song, go there.

Fun facts:
- I met Alex Johnson, drummer for The Cab at a concert (Camera flashes, strobe lights, and all)
- Johnson is just a character in my song. I don't think he even exists.

I seem to have broken my blog... Aw.

Bridge Lyrics to The Midway State's "Never Again"

There is a lover down inside all of our gates that we can't
protect forever cause he's sucking at the air from our lips
I felt him tremble when I first picked you up driving honey
We drove for hours I remember when I first let him kiss
You and your mouth the taste of love it filled me up to the tips
I couldn't sleep for weeks I fevered at one hundred and six
