I first started playing acoustic when I was 13 years old. I got a Squire acoustic in a package and took lessons at the local place. At first, I loved playing guitar and I wanted to expand my knowledge but I was only being taught a slower, more classical tone of guitar. I never have listened to that kind of music so being taught that stuff was a major turn off from guitar.
On my 18th birthday, I bought an electric guitar because my friend was playing all my favorite music. It looked like a lot of fun and I wanted to become more passionate about music. Now, here I am.
I am in no means "good" but I try to keep up with everyone else and in my opinion, for how long I've been playing, I think I can keep up.
