Hi. Thanks for checking out my transcriptions, and for sharing all the fantastic work you've all done, too. I love doing this stuff-- learning by copying my idols. I wish there would have been all of these amazing tools--computers, mp3s, programs like GuitarPro, websites like UltimateGuitar when I was a kid! I have recently been using an awesome program Transcribe! by http://www.seventhstring.com/xscribe/overview.html which allows you to slow down music while transcribing.
I have a love/hate relationship with the GuitarPro program--it's mostly love--it's really an incredible program, and I have made the leap to the newest version GuitarPro 6, which, yes, still has some frustrating bugs, but it is improving, and it also has advancements, including being able to score piano on grand staff, so I'm glad that I've decided to be patient with its imperfections. Since a lot of GuitarPro tab had to be recently taken down in some countries including the U.S. by UltimateGuitar in order to comply with takedown requests by the copyright holder, I have uploaded mp3 exports of these GuitarPro 6 transcriptions so you can at least hear what they sound like. And if you want to private message me with your email, I can send files to you.
