Dont mind you asking at all 
I really liked VT's EE program. There were a few things I did not like, such as having a few too many programming type courses for my liking. However, there are a lot of great professors in a wide variety of EE fields, so once you hit your 3rd and 4th years you have a lot of options on what to take. I tried to take a little bit of everything myself. But I really did love it, and all of my friends who were EEs did as well.
Let me know if you have any specific questions, or even general ones. I am more than happy to give you some information
