I'm an almost humble guy born in raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, brought up as a choir kid and somehow along the line, twisted into a metal-head jazz-fusion techno-pop classic rock fan. I'm 17, and I play clarinet in the Hiram High School Band of Gold. It's pretty great, and clarinet is not a gay instrument, it's just so sexy that it makes people gay. Wait...never mind. On any account, I love my band more than anything in the world we're called TORTUS (http://www.myspace.com/tortusband) and we're and eclectic mix of 7 musicians who love to have a good time playing any and every style of music fathomable, with a particular interest in metal and turbo-swing.
I FREAKING LOVE THE GUITAR. There is nothing finer than to sit on the front porch playing an acoustic all day, other than perhaps than to stand on a large stage, playing an electric to hundreds of people.
I love life. It sucks sometimes, but so does everything. Overall, I really love it, and I'm always excited to see where the next day will bring me.
I've been currently getting really into death metal.
I'm also a horror fanatic -- I love horror movies and read every issue of Fangoria and Rue Morgue that I can find cover-to-cover.
I try to follow some of the basic beliefs of Christianity, but I am not a strict Christian at all. The earth is billions of years old, species evolved etc., but I believe God or "a god" set them into motion. I believe in Jesus Christ as the messiah, but maybe he's not the ONLY way. I believe the bible was symbolic and not meant to be taken so literally. The stories are there to teach important morales and lessons. No one would actually survive being eaten by a whale. (At least for that long anyway.)
Also, I'm really laid back. I love meeting new people and just chilling. Tis a gift to chill.
