Well, you see... It's a blues/pop song, not a Renaissance piece, so...
Thanks.

Wow thanks for the help man! I'm only replying here because I can't PM you for some reason but yeah thanks :D I think I pretty much understand now, if you listen to the mp3 on my profile I used modes for the solo in that :)

Hey, sorry to bug you again but I re-read over the stuff I posted last night and can't even understand it my self :L I think was due to lack of sleep as it was like 4AM. Anyway I have just one question what are the modal scales actually used for besides making modal chord progressions? How would use them for soloing?
P.S thanks for the help so far I really appreciate. The only thing that's getting me down is I'm not even new to the guitar I have like 8 years experience behind me XD

Well those first two chords are just 1 b7 b3, so they're kind of just implied. I see it as C#m7 then D#7, but without an A/A# it's hard to say.

Anyways, that third chord is... G# F# C (technically B# maybe?), E then the E releases to D#.

So I guess G#7(#5) to G#7 would be the best way to notate that.

:haha: :haha: I should've expected something so complicated from you. No way I was working that out without an instrument! :p

Thanks though

Seen as how you seemed so humble, you mind telling me what the main chord progression is? It started off C#m7 and D#m7 but then I got lost (don't have my guitars with me :p)

I just listened to your mp3, was awesome - I went to leave a comment and found I already had (blatently drunk at the time) Really impressive though, are you a fan of the chili peppers? Don't quite know why but I get that vibe from the song, Breaking The Girl-esque. Also, you're a good singer.

I have more pictures, in case you haven't seen them, including one with the whole fingerboard, by the way.

Well, then it would probably have been intelligent for me to look at those prior to right now.

It's your profile picture. It's a sex machine. You own it?
