Guitar Skills
Favorite bands :
Glen Campbell is my guitar hero. At a time in history he was considered one of the best guitarist in the world. If you watch some of his videos you will see why, especially his live performances. As for actual groups, who can beat the Beatles? Country I like Brooks and Dunn and also the Eagles.
Favorite guitarists :
Glen Campbell, Roy Clark, Chet Adkins, John Denver, and of course Dave Nachmanoff.
Favorite bassists :
Carol Kaye
Favorite books :
quite a few of the Hal Lenorad library
Favorite tv :
Andy Griffith and most of the old 60's shows in re-runs, hate reality tv
Favorite movies :
Forrest Gump, High an the Mighty, Islands in the Clouds

About flyinglibra51
I'm a 64 year old retired Airline Transport Pilot. I am a Viet Nam Veteran. My mother made me take guitar lessons at age 10 and have played ever since. Since my wife passed away in 2008 I have become very absorbed in music and it's theory. I probably bought too many guitars and have to resist buying new ones I play at my local music store. I have trouble sleeping and so I stay up late breaking songs down into their chords and progressions. I like posting them. I have begun using a in home recording program and find it difficult to learn, especially editing and mixing. I hate to hear my own voice recorded but I am working on about 30 of my favorite songs to leave behind for my son and my sister.
