I just got an Ibanez RG2EX2 back in August...I love this guitar! It's currently all I need, it's wonderful. It did have a few problems when I brought it home though...firstly, the first fret in the G string was all buzzy, no matter what, and the bridge pickup didn't work. But I disregarded both of those, figuring I preferred how the neck pickup sounded anyway and I'd never use that fret on the G string(obviously forgetting the E chord).
But today was the instance that finally made me bring it back. After a night of recording, I was wrapping up. I had one last little solo for D37 to do, so I did it. It was a bit sloppy but I wanted to hear it played back to me anyway so I turned down the volume knob on the guitar. I heard what I wanted, and turned it back up....But wait, all I hear is static and buzzing! I frantically twist the knob back and forth and still get nothing. We took it up to Guitar Center and we called the warranty people from their phone. They are gonna call in 2 days and give me the location of the UPS Store they want me to send the guitar from. They will take it and send me a brand new guitar...On the upside I get a new guitar, but I am now missing my electric guitar.
*sigh* now I just gotta wait for the call back from the
bastards -_-
I just realized that there was this section of UG a few weeks ago; finally got around to setting up mine...it's so neat to upload the mp3's here, probably my favorite aspect of it right now. I just got a drum program and started goofing with that so most of my uploads are gonna be fairly drum heavy...I think...I dunno though
