My name is Adam brun, I am an 18 yr old musician of guitar and bass for about 6 years. I LIVE IN NEW BEDFORD (5.0.8.) Mass am looking for collaboration. I am open minded and down to earth. I am an original musician and write all my own songs (no covers).I love rock but have recently been recording a combination of HIP-HOP AND FUNK. I am willing to do just about any style of music.

my recordings are short...i am using an analog 4-track and then recording the song to a VOICE recorder and then converting the wav file to an mp3(it only converts half of the song because i do not own the software...it is a demo)i then upload my crappy recording quality of a song onto ultimate-guitar.com/that is the reason for the poor quality of my songs...i need better equipment...sorry

does anyone listen to/like rap?i wasnt crazy about it at first but that was because nobody used real instruments.also many rappers and rap producers are not original anymore,they ``recycle``if you will,beats produced from other producers.old school rap was the most original i think(i love old school rap)..i respect rap because i love funk music and that is probably the closest music genre related to rap.i also now have a new respect for rap because i have since then...recorded some rap beats.they are on page under my mp3`s,feel free to check them out or rate them or whatever.keep in mind,rock and guitars are my true love,and i am not a rap producer
dont you think it is frustrating when your a dedicated musician looking to start a band but you cant find musicians who are as determined as you?(or dedicated at all)thats my problem.its hard because im more of a band musician and not a solo musician but everyone i try to get involved with my music doesnt take it seriously.i think its because i play styles of music that dont interest too many young musicians(blues/funk/jam-band/experimenatl)most people i know are into hardcore and metal.thats why i joined this site...in hopes of finding a dedicated musician that is into my kind of music.
have you ever broken a guitar string,didnt have a replacement,and didnt have money to get a new pair of strings.it happens to me alot .it really hurts.i feel lost.i can still mess around on the other strings but it takes away alot of the feel.in order to cope with this,i listen to music...but then i am more encouraged to play guitar...and then dicouraged because i can not!
