Thrash DEAD?

People of the world we are witnessing the one of the most tragic deaths of Metal history. I'm talking of course about the death of thrash metal. By this point people should know that the Big Four of Thrash are Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, and of course Metallica. These bands have all been on the decline for a while. Slayer has been very quickly getting redundant. Megadeth is slowing down which is not thrash at all. Anthrax may as well have fallin off the planet. and then there is Metallica. Metallica was supposed to be the ambassador of thrash. They were the response to a lame acts of hair metal in the 80's. Now they are a mere shadow of there old selves. Other than the Big Four there isn't any band that will take one of the big fours place. Bands like Sepultura, Machine Head, Testament, and Trivium are other thrash bands. But the problem is that none of them can make a breakthrough because of the new wave of lame @ss Metalcore bands. People mistake screamo and Metalcore for actual Metal. I don't think that there is anyway for this dying breed of Metal to survive. All we can do is just make do with what we have and keep praying to the Metal Gods that one of the Big Four can make an album so monunetally great that Metal can once again rule the world.
