Sweep picking is probably my favorite technique. Probably because now that i can sweep pick i feel like i accomplished something. I had to play guitar a year before i learned how to sweet but i was learning all the other stuff first. Now after a good 10 years of playing sweeps are just fun to play. I dont use them in songs so much because its easy to loose a crowd if you just sweep all the time but it sure makes for fun warm ups.
ever go into a guitar store and just start sweeping beside the kid playing smoke on the water?? hahaha idk why but i find gerat fun in that. guitar stored are always competitive places for some reason.
