Musical Diversity?

I know there are a lot of people who limit themselves to a single genre or even subgenre of music. Personally i think doing so is just immature or shows a lack of true interest in music as a whole. I am a metal fan, i play in a metal band, and my guitars are all made for metal. But i also find joy in listening to things like jazz, classical, and other types of rock music. I honestly think that even by listening to other types of music i become a better musician as new music opens up new creative doors for me. Id recomend anyone reading this to try listening to something they have never really heard before, or never really gotten into. You never know how new music will inspire you.

My Dream Setup

My dream set up is as follows...

Guitar: PRS Custom 24 (Blue Flame Top)

Amp: Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier (for distortion)
Roland Jazz Combo (for clean sounds)

Cabinet: Mesa Boogie 4x12 Cabinet (for Vetta head)

FX: Line 6 Floor PodXT

I know its not a purist setup with the ideal all tube amp and vintage speakers, but i built my setup around diversity and being able to get a wide variety of sounds from a single set up.
