We need some drum tabs on this website so we can have whole bands signed up to ultimate-guitar. My cousin is a drummer, and he doesn't have a website to find drum tabs. So I am going to start posting drum tabs and lessons. If they won't post them, I'll post the lessons in my blogs.
i had been playing guitar for one month when my grandma had died. we were at her funeral and later we went to her house so me and my cuz were going through her stuff and i found a guitar case. so me and my cuz looked in it and found a strange 4 stringed guitar. (at the time i had no idea what a bass was, and i was only 11). so i went up-stairs and asked if i could have it. he said ya i had been playing a while i could learn from it. later he said he wanted to show me something. he brought out a 77 fender stratocaster. that is my dream guitar. i play it every day. and it is only a little banged up.
today people dont respect music like they use to. everyone wants to listen to emo or rap. i had a broken finger and i sat on a bench for an hour and a half in a public area playing classics like led zep, the beatles, jimi hendrix, and kansas. and how many people stoped to listen??? THREE!!! one man stoped and showed mesome techniques, one man just sat had a ciggarette and listened, and one lady actually sat and listened she really liked the music and thanked me for playing. that made me think about people these days and how they respect music. they just saw a dirty kid on a bench playing guitar. those3people saw a kid on a bench playing guitar because he's talked to dad twice in the past 2 and a half years. because his mom cant afford to drive 300 miles to see his old friends or maybe have chance to see his father. or maybe because he's been having trouble with who he is. i cant belive how ignorant people can be to stand right in front of me and not know im there. well thats all i've got to say and i really hope you got my point.
