I teach english composition classes (both a research and a rhetoric course) at my local university, where I am also taking classes towards my master's degree in English literature and criticism. If my posted opinions get long winded or full of bs and devil's advocacy, you can now understand why as this is basically my job My academic interest hovers over popular culture, and ties in strongly with my love of music.
My other interests are as varied as my taste in music, I love anything to do with the outdoors or excercise, but also enjoy sitting on my butt playing my wii or, obvious for an English student: reading a lot.
My most involved interest is music of course: I am a bass player, but love fiddling around with any kind of instrument or musical equipment I can get my hands on. I also love modding things and working with electronics. Most of my posts are in the bass forum, but I've also caught myself going to the pit a bit too much for comfort lately.
