I got my first guitar in sixth grade (the Johnson acoustic), and played it for a year before receiving a Crate Electric Guitar Pack for Christmas. I discovered punk rock and classic rock, and sold the Crate to buy my Ibanez GRG170DX in the summer of 2006. Being the naive guitarist I was, I bought a new guitar (my AS73G) for Christmas (we had lost a lot of money) in hopes of making my band at the time, Savage Rights, sound better. After an unsuccessful 9 months of band after band and with the help of UG, I realized if I wanted to get any better and if I wanted to go anywhere, I needed a new amp. I blindly bought my beloved Peavey Valveking for Christmas in 2007. Shortly there after, I joined the VK thread, and received much help in buying my Bad Monkey and WGS Veteran 30. The sound of the amp increased tenfold into the versatile monster it is today.
I am a struggling musician (aren't we all), trying to find a serious band, decent recording equipment, and money to buy all that and some other equipment for my rig.
I currently play guitar in Know Sence (a garage, classic rock band). On another note, I'm still looking for a band that dips in a bit of everything... I have yet to find that.
My recordings are getting better, and as I become a better musician, sound engineer, and make more money, they will continue to improve.
