Yeah with the GT8, a lLues Deluxe will prob work well. Look into a Vox AC30 as well though, I think they sound quite good as well. I'm looking at a Fender Supersonic head with a Marshall cab for my live sound at the moment- I need the extra headroom for my cleans.

its a great amp for cleans- more than likely the best in its price range. the only downside to it is that the drive channel is useless. you really do need a pedal if you want any overdrive or distortion. this doesn't bother me because i'm obseesed with pedals. all my money at the moment is going towards pedals- i should be getting a moogerfooger filter soon
