Just wanted to post this little blog for the very few friends I have on this page >_<
As you all probably know, Metallica recently released a heavily
anticipated new album around a month ago. I was hoping that this new
release would finally redeem them for their most of their material
released since the days of the "Black Album", especially after the
release of the atrocious studio-effort "St. Anger."
I sought out to purchase the disc, and to my delight, Metallica have
indeed returned to their classic and original formula of tight rhythm
guitars, in-shred-ible solos (sorry, I just couldn't resist :P), and
speedy drum-beats. It doesn't quite live up to their epics like "Master
of Puppets" or "...And Justice for All," but it certainly marks the
return of a band that we as guitarists have taken so much influence
As excited as I am for this release, I decided to tab their new single,
"The Day That Never Comes," in a complete Guitar Pro format. I have
just submitted it tonight, and with its eventual approval, I hope you
go take a listen and comment on it :]
i totally agree.
cant wait to see the tab. i'll go check it outttt
i'm realy glad they did good with this album. i was expecting it to be a heap of garbage after st. anger. but like you said, its definitely a good release by them. i picked up a copy last weekend after i DL'd it to see if i liked it.
