Favorite guitarists :
mahaa, where do I start? Ok first of i'll tell you I have an irrational hate for slash(Guns and Roses), Jimi Hendrix, and Zacky V. (Avenged sevenfold). You need to know that much to get on with me at all. On a brighter note, My favourite guitarists to listen to would be mainly the leaders of the PowerProg Scene, and also some instrumental soloists. In rough order or respect, Here goes: John Petrucci, Steve Vai, Jani Liimatainen, Michael Romeo, Gus G, Timo Tolkki, Joe Satriani.
Favorite books :
I read a lot and have done for a long time. My all time favourite books would have to be "The dark is rising" by Susan cooper, but more recently I've ben reading more Tolkien (The Silmarillion), Johnathan Stroud (The Amulet of Samarkand), and Dan Brown (Angels and Demons)
Favorite tv :
the things i enjoy watching are mostly Anime, with series like Wolf's Rain, Elfen Lied and Witch hunter robin standing out. Other things i watch are: The Bill ('cos I'm 'Ard), Heroes, Saxondale, Mock the week, and any other good drama or comedy.
Favorite movies :
Movies? Again its probably the Anime's :D - Advent children.
