actually i was a normal uger for about 3 or 4 years before i was modded, and honestly the times when the admins and mods wreaked havoc on the forums, being silly and breaking rules, were the funniest times i had on UG and very few users ever complained because it was nice to have the rules bent here and there even if we weren't the ones doing the bending.

I think i'm in a similar boat to you. I enjoy what i'm studying but I don't think my personality is suited to working in labs and the more I think about it, the less appealing it seems. Most people in my degree end up in research or do postgrad med, but i don't think i can stick it out in uni for another 6 years to do the latter. I originally did med sc because I wanted a degree to help people that wasn't business related, so i'm thinking of combining my degree with policy. hopefully that can give me and edge to maybe get into government work and save our health system in places like rural australia, maybe even bring basic medicine to developing countries.

Have you tried work experience in any research departments or hospitals? maybe getting a feel of the real deal might help stimulate some of that real science love.

I enjoy variety a variety of music, but if you plan on hitting the dance clubs, the night just isn't as good if you just sit around and kinda bop your head to the oonce oonce doosh doosh. Its a good time to go nuts. Not that i'm an aggressive person, but I find that good hard house clubs sometimes gives me a certain similar power rush, while trance sometimes gives me a euphoric feeling. It's a tad hard to explain but it's just good fun.

You attend the events. surely you dance too?
