yeah, i know what ya mean. not trying to bring in much metal, honestly, just hard rock, with grindstone. but yeah, definitely some punk influences, might change it since we're still early in writing, but ya.

so far, we've got those 3 as our "fave" tracks, as far as representing our sound, and being more polished. We've got another one that sounds a bit more classic rock like, like AC/DC plus a bit of Van Halen...but it's going to need some more polishing. There's another one written by my co-guitarist that originally came out like an indie (like Modest Mouse) and we changed it up since it didn't fit in, then it became this fast late 90's pop punk number (like NFG, maybe?) and I'm not a fan of that.
i'm writing something that sounds a bit like RATM, in terms of Morello's riffing...gonna try and hammer it out sometime soon.
