Just trying to spread the word of rock n roll and trying to bring it back to the forefront where it belongs. In an era where whiny, indy emo music exists, These kids need to realize where it all came from and need to be stripped of their synthesizers and start all over again, with a guitar, a bass, and drums, nothing else. Stop trying to be "different" or "ecclectic" in your style. Just play rock n roll and don't rely on your distortion or, how many notes you can play a minute. Learn how to play, and love how to play. Be a student of your instrument.
We Americans suck at embracing our musical inventions like Rock n Roll, Rockabilly, Jazz, Blues, and Country (real country). These guys who play real music can't even make a living off it unless they dye their hair and grow it over their eyes.
By posting these tabs, I want to let people know that there are other guitarist out there than Hammett, Satriani, Rhodes, Vai, and Malmsteen, who's playing and work I respect, but have never been fond of. It's the underdogs that I like. Those gems you find after digging and digging. Guys like Brian Setzer, Jim Heath, Wes Montgomery, Cliff Gallup and Scotty moore. Guys who played music you can shake your leg to, music that made you forget about the other crap we deal with in our lives.
I was born in 1983 but feel like I should've been born in 1953. Those guys knew how to rock. It was raw, loud, simple, and more importantly, fun.
