But a brief, and I mean BRIEF summary would be AC/DC , Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Bob Marley, eminem (sorta), Chuck Berry, Clapton, Dire Straits, Feeder, Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses, James, Jeff Buckley, Jimi Hendrix, KISS, Led Zeppelin, Living Colour, Lynyrd Skynyrd , Megadeth, michael jackson, NIN, nirvana, Pink Floyd, The Police, Queen (im not gona bother puttin it into words), RATM, The Ramones, RHCP, Rory Gallagher , Rush, Soloway, Steppenwolf, Steve Vai, STP, SOAD, T-Rex, Tenacious D, THIN LIZZY!, Tool, U2, Van Halen, Velvet Revolver, Velvet Underground, The Who, Wolfmother and heaps others. I've just listed the stuff that came to mind first, lol
Favorite guitarists :
Pretty much all guitar music does it for me, as long as it technically works and has SOME rhythm to it. Joe Satriani is interesting, slong with Vai, Rhoads, Slash, Pete Townshend... Pretty much it. All the guitarists from the above listed bands, ROCK, so I guess that wraps it up.
Favorite bassists :
Although I don't know many bassists, I have to say, Victor Wooten is teh mutha-effin man. Billy Sheehan is good too, although I only know him from his tenure in the Steve Vai band :p
Favorite books :
If you recommend me a book, chances are I'll read it.
Favorite tv :
SCRUBS!!! Seriously. It's gotten to the extent where a friend of mine is the "brown bear".
Favorite movies :
I have seen literally too many movies to list them all here, as I would surely go mad before I could remember then, let alone write them all down.
I'm Darragh. So I'm Irish, 16, I like watching sports, playing my 6-string, playing videogames, girls, parties, cars, I read books here and there, and consider myself a movie nut. The Dark Knight was an awesome film by the way, wasn't it? I mean, seriously.
To wrap this off, I guess I'll tell you about the music I like. I'm a thoroughbred music fan, having grown up surrounded by music, which I owe to my mother. My favourite genre is of course rock music, I love GnR, Muse, the Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, and tons of other stuff, from the generic to the obscure. Being Irish, I'm required by law to adore Thin Lizzy.
I also love Classical (anything from Bach to Verde), Latin, Jazz, Blues, anything with a bit of feel and unique flavour to it. And I do not hate rap. Some of it is good, honestly. Me encantan los Run DMC y Tupac un poco. Oh, I forgot to mention, I speak Spanish, albeit not well, just know some bits and pieces.
