I heard my friend Roy playing Patience by GnR. That's how I first encountered the guitar sound. I was so amazed by how it sounded so I went out of our house and sneaked thru the gates to get to Roy's house. He was not yet my friend then, so I was not even sure if I can listen in. I was there standing behind a wall puffing a cigarette listening to the intro of that song played on an acoustic by my friend.
