Just a little thought for the passing of Mitch Mitchell. The rock behind Hendrix, through Experience, and Band of Gypsys. So now there's no Experience left. Unless you count Chas Chandler, and Eddie Kramer, who were pretty central to the whole plot. My favourite quote of the man was, when asked how he got into the Experience : "I met Jimi in a sleazy little club, we knocked out some Chuck Berry numbers, and it kind of worked". Brilliant! But considering all the talented musicians who've died too young, at least since that dark day in 1970, there's one small thing that bothers me. What the fuck did we, as a race, do to deserve the continued existence of Cliff Richard? Just a thought...rock on Mitch. At least you went out undiminished.
