Favorite bands :
QOTSA, Biffy Clyro, Therapy?, AC/DC, SOAD and Placebo...and more. Otherwise A-Z and all points inbetween. If it's got good bass in, I'll buy it. Not prog tho. Life's too short for prog.
Favorite guitarists :
The gestalt entity that is JoshHommeTroyVanLeeu wen. And Dave Navarro over Fruiscante any day. Angus Young. Simon Neil, 'cos he makes me feel better for not having a delicate touch! Billy Gibbons - are you listening Gary Moore? That's how it's done! Andy Cairns, Andreas Kisser, Jimi, FZ, Eddie Clarke, Joe Strummer...tbc
Favorite bassists :
Too many to mention! Start with Stanley Clarke, Steve Harris, Nic Oliveri, veer thro' Alan Lancaster, Flea, Doug Wimbish, Jim Lea and Lemmy, and narrowly avoid Cliff Burton, Matt Osman, Tim Commerford and Bill Wyman, to end up in a pub with Justin Currie, and you might begin to get an impression of the chaos that is my bass brain. Oh, and the bloke from ABBA with the Alembic whose name I can never remember but is probably Bjorn anyway...
Favorite books :
Anything by J.G.Ballard, Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, William McIlvanney, George McKay-Brown, Gore Vidal. Musician's biogs. The poetry of Norman McCaig. Sometime, I might even start and finish a Kafka novel in the same year. That would be fun, wouldn't it?
Favorite tv :
Maaan, TV sucks cock, doesn't it? What a waste of time. Apart from football, rugby, motorsports and The Mighty Boosh. And anything with Frankie Boyle in. Or Sammo. But not Top Gear. Or soaps. Or A Question Of Sport. Or daytime TV with presenters who have fence-paint tans. Dear god no, definitely not.
Favorite movies :
American Graffitti, Assault on Precinct 13 (the original one), anything by Wim Wenders, Wrong Turn (oooh...Eliza in a vest...oops your car's a bit broken...why don't we bunk down in this creepy shack...need a hug hun?...mmmm), shite B-movies, and most Japanese stuff. Except Hello Kitty. Publicly at least.

So there was this. There wasn't always this, but it's here now, and it is. This. It just is, then there'll be something else, and it'll be that. It'll be over there, sidewards, almost in the future.
But do you know what comes between? What defines the point of transition?
And.
Just that. And. It's the crucial pivot between now and then, this and that, here and there, back and forth....
So there's your Meaning Of Life for you!
And.
St Mirren FC. 'MON THE B+W BRAZIL!!!!!
Love always to Sekh and the kids.
Feel free to enjoy a merry tune or two, while you're here! After all, it can't hurt, can it? Blood, sweat, tears, and tea went into making each and every one y'know!
