Favorite guitarists :
Nuno Bettencourt, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Brian May, Vinnie Moore, Carlos Santana, Carlos Montoya, Neal Schon, Brian Setzer, John Williams, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, BB King, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, George Lynch, Joe Bonamassa, Andres Segovia, Paco de Lucia, Al DiMeola. I could go on and on.
Favorite bassists :
Pat Badger, Paul McCartney, Stu Hamm. Actually I'm ashamed to say I haven't given this much thought. I'm usually so concentrated on the guitar I don't think much about the bass. Sorry all you bassists out there. I know you guys and gals are really important.
Favorite books :
The "Outlander" series by Diana Gabaldon, the "Odd Thomas" series by Dean Koontz, "Lamb" by Christopher Moore, "Mistress of the Art of Death" by Ariana Franklin, "Wicked" and "Son of a Witch" by Gregory Maguire, most Stephen King books, "The Vampire Chronicles" by Anne Rice, pretty much anything on Scottish history and ghosts and the paranormal. I also read a lot of writing books.
Favorite tv :
I don't watch much TV. Usually watch The Weather Channel when I'm getting ready for work in the morning, I watch Ghost Hunters religiously, and Starz. I love movies and most of the time when my TV is on, I'm watching movies.
Favorite movies :
The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Dark Knight, Transformers, Titanic, Sense and Sensibility, Blood Diamond, The Departed, Gangs of New York, Eastern Promises, A History of Violence, Just a Little Harmless Sex, Wall-E and anything else Pixar has ever done, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Batman Begins, P.S. I Love You, Phantom of the Opera, 300, the Tomb Raider movies, and pretty much anything Johnny Depp does.
I love music, and guitar is my favorite instrument. I own 2: a Washburn N2 and a Washburn N4, however I've still not learned to play much. I love the N4 particularly because it's so light and because I can actually manage the fretboard. I'm not a big person and I don't have long, elegant fingers so sometimes I have trouble stretching to reach some of the chords. The thinner neck on the N4 makes it easier for me to reach on those tough chords. It's a wonderful guitar. I do play piano and used to play numerous other instruments, but lack of practice has left me only able to play piano now. I also write, draw, paint and love to take pictures. I'm Scottish by ancestry and love my heritage. I'm also fascinated with ghosts and the paranormal and love Ghost Hunters.
