That sounds pretty cool dude, though I'd personally go for a different colour, like maybe black and red swirls or something XD. But that lime green would be pretty cool, definitely for something like punk, and those pickups are gonna be seriously good dude; bartolinis are seriously awesome.

Arias are pretty cool, I've mostly seen them in the lower price range but they look and play nicely nonetheless. Steve Baily plays on one so they must be pretty good. I've found that for the money, they are great value, and actually sound really good AND are very sturdy. I got my Warwick because a jazz bass was simply because the neck were uncomfortable to me, and they just did not sound 'awesome'. They sound great, but I wanted it to sound a little more pissed off. Hence, I got interested in simuilar style basses with more growl, which led me to Warwick. No looking back since.

It is a matter of taste though. If I saw a great deal on a MIA/MIJ Fender, I would get it and keep it. They work everywhere, and sound great. They just couldn't compete with Warwick in my mind's eye though.

PS. Already a Thunderbird group, sadly.

Actually, all the Crovettes (other than the NT $$) are damn good value for money, because they don't have any body scupting etc like the Thumbs or the Streamers, but still sound just as good. The really keep the same standard through the whole range.

Saying that, the Stage II do look fantastic.

£750. All I got done was an ebony fingerboard (+£50 on list price of the bass). However, that got me a £100 flight case withthe bass and the custom shop certificate.

When you factor inthe discount the shop gave me, it was cheaper then getting the standard model online.
