Well he could have ment really bad sex, thats sex too. Tele's are wicked I love the sound you get out of them with tonnes and tonnes and tonnes of distortion it's almost painful to listen to but it's so deliciously awesome at the same time. ever picked up a bass at all? |
Yeah, I've played a bass a time or two. It's not too bad, but I prefer guitar.

Lol I remember lurking your profile because I was interesting in your hagstrom, a friend of mine just bought a solid body haggy but I've been on the lookout for a hollowbody. Anyway, cheers for the add |
No problem..I love meeting new people.
Lol yeah, I love my Hagstrom haha. It's pure magic.
I've actually been thinking about getting a solid-body Hag. What a coincidence.

AVA_Plus44_182 wrote on Jun 18th, 2008 8:34pmThat sounds pretty cool dude, though I'd personally go for a different colour, like maybe black and red swirls or something XD. But that lime green would be pretty cool, definitely for something like punk, and those pickups are gonna be seriously good dude; bartolinis are seriously awesome.
Arias are pretty cool, I've mostly seen them in the lower price range but they look and play nicely nonetheless. Steve Baily plays on one so they must be pretty good. I've found that for the money, they are great value, and actually sound really good AND are very sturdy. Check this one out, I reckon it's my favourite: http://www.ariaguitars.com/int/03_products/pro_eb_ avb50.html quote |
gm jack wrote on Jun 18th, 2008 7:35pmI got my Warwick because a jazz bass was simply because the neck were uncomfortable to me, and they just did not sound 'awesome'. They sound great, but I wanted it to sound a little more pissed off. Hence, I got interested in simuilar style basses with more growl, which led me to Warwick. No looking back since.
It is a matter of taste though. If I saw a great deal on a MIA/MIJ Fender, I would get it and keep it. They work everywhere, and sound great. They just couldn't compete with Warwick in my mind's eye though.
PS. Already a Thunderbird group, sadly. quote |
