Arias are pretty cool, I've mostly seen them in the lower price range but they look and play nicely nonetheless. Steve Baily plays on one so they must be pretty good. I've found that for the money, they are great value, and actually sound really good AND are very sturdy. I got my Warwick because a jazz bass was simply because the neck were uncomfortable to me, and they just did not sound 'awesome'. They sound great, but I wanted it to sound a little more pissed off. Hence, I got interested in simuilar style basses with more growl, which led me to Warwick. No looking back since.

It is a matter of taste though. If I saw a great deal on a MIA/MIJ Fender, I would get it and keep it. They work everywhere, and sound great. They just couldn't compete with Warwick in my mind's eye though.
