And really? Gaytheist? Call me a douche, whatever, but don't work annoying homophobia in. |
IRL is nerd for "in real life."
Douche doesn't work with atheist, I could have said daytheist, but it doesn't sound right. There's also "fagnostic" which I am a fan of.

Colgate Total wrote on Sep 18th, 2008 3:31amYou think the words "IRL Troll" would do something for people, and make it painfully obvious. Yet, each and every day, this site proves me wrong. I'm not religious, at all. How many PMs do I have to get from high school kids before they finally get it? Seriously, you're probably the 11th person to do so, each of you has failed to see any sarcasm whatsoever in my sig. You know what though? It doesn't bother me. Because the existence of a higher power cannot be proven, nor can it be disproven. I just like seeing kids get all worked up over something. Funny how religion is insulted for pushing it onto everyone, yet atheists left and right say how fake it is, and how the world would be better off without. Despite all that it has done for the world, with such things are law, justice, and the very moral fabric of nearly everyone in the western world. I'll end my rant there though, because I'm rambling. I was planning on leaving a smart ass comment, so I'll do that now.
Gaytheist.

I feel like a dick for proselytizing my atheism, but I just have to when you guys are so militant about your religion. |
I have no intention of defending my beliefs to someone who refuses to accept them.

Actually, go here: http://www.reverbnation.com/thetides
In particular, I'd suggest listening to Brown Sound, New Song, Running Grain, Guitarman, and Rondo. They're some of our best. | brown sound was pretty cool. i haven't listened to the other ones yet.

Style-wise we're kind of hard to describe, I dunno. I guess rock/jam band ish type stuff, without the songwriting talent that a lot of jam bands have. I'll send you some of our better recordings. | Haha, humble words, my friend.

Around, I suppose. I dunno, I've sort of dropped off the interwebs in favor of playing guitar/sports/school. I've got less to do in the summer. | Ah, having a life is overrated! :
So now that you've got that sweet Peavey Delta Blues, you gonna start a band?

Another question, what's the difference between the 210 and the 115 model in terms of sound? Is it worth waiting a few months for a 115 rather than getting a 210 sooner? |
A few months? That's a toughie. I do prefer the 1x15. I don't know if I'd have the patience to wait months for it, though. When I was in the market for the same amp, I wound up going with a Classic 30 because it was so readily available.

Hey, slats, it's another online chump who wants some advice. So I've heard (or read, whatever) you say that the Delta Blues is the poor man's AC30. But then I've heard others say it's a more Fender-type circuit. So which one is it? |
I'm sticking with poor man's AC30. It's an EL84 based amp with reverb and tremolo, giving it a voice and similar features to the classic Vox. Outside of the Blues and Pro Jr., Fender's are all either 6V6 or 6L6 based, giving them that classic Fender clean sound. Peavey makes their amps look like tweed Fenders, but the internals are much more like the British amp.
