Slash, Jimi Hendrix....
I appreciate Funk guitarists because I realize that takes a lot of skill.
I don't much like Metal guitarists because although that takes a lot of skill, there is not variations in the sound. I don't feel like it's really riff based. There isn't much muting or anything like that and every single note comes out.

I hate bassists that basically play one note for a long time. These bassists usually play over the guitar or the drums. The bass is its own instrument and should be treated that way, not as an extention of another instrument.
