This just in! New song(original) will be posted soon hopefully! There will be no singing because frankly, I suck. After I find a suitable singer I will post a new song with lyrics. For now instead of singing, it will be replaced with guitar.
Well i finally did what i was planning to do (for like 2 years) and went out and bought myself some recording equipmentI bought the M-Audio Mobilepre USB preamp audio interface and the M-Audio Minisport Uno Midi interface. They were both relatively cheap and the mobilepre came with Albeton Live Lite 7 which is a decent program. I will have new songs uploaded and if i teach myself to sing better they will have lyrics. I am doing ``I Hate Everything About YOU`` by Three Days Grace for a test of my new equipment. It is an easy song to record(except the drums ) So look for that song to be up soon!
On last Sunday I had an audiotion for a band that needed a bass player. Now i don't usually play bass unless im recording a song which ofcourse means im not really good. But since i learned Classical Gas in 2 weeks of playing guitar i decided to give it a chance. So I go to the audition with nervousness and high hopes of me getting into this band. I learned the songs they told me to have ready for practice:
1. Jumping Jack Flash by The rolling Stones
2. Same Old Song and Dance by Aerosmith
3. Brown Sugar by The Rolling Stones
4. It's Only Rock and Roll(But I Like It) by the Rolling Stones
(pretty much rock and roll 101)
So anyways I was talking to one of the guitarists in the band and he said he had no complaints about my playing and he said he would talk to the other guys about it and see if im in the band.
I really hope i make it because when I wasn't playing the songs they told me to learn I was listening to their great original songs and hopefully I am in the band and I can put up some recordings on here so you can all listen Wish me Luck
