How emo music literally almost killed me.

Current mood: chipper

The other day, i was smoking pot with two of my buddies in my car.  I spotted these two conspicuous looking boys, both with baseball bats.  They had long, greasy hair that led me to the correct assumption that they were gay.  They were buff as hell and had X's tatooed on their hands.
I deduce that these straightedge people do not want me to enjoy all of the drugs by myself, and i offer them some, and they proceed to yell obscenities at me.  I drive away quickly as the light turns green, and barely escape with my life.

This emo music must be stopped.  Drugs aren't cool anymore!

They yelled at you? Shit, I hope there's no long-term damage!

Sure, they're annoyingly holier-than-thou, but straight-edge is the result of hardcore music, not emo, although original non-bastardised emo was an offshoot of hardcore but it was a separate one from straight-edge.

Anyway, you can't really justify the elimination of a music genre on the basis that a few people from it are assholes, or we wouldn't have any music.

I thought gay ppl were happy? If thats the case them being Emos is a contradiction. Emos just pretend to be emo for attention. Real emos dont dress the part.

Ah, but some people get so caught up in doing it for attention, it becomes part of who they are, and thus become emo both in looks and behaviour.

I'm confused now... So were the people a metaphor for music? How can music attack someone?

they happened to be both, and they were obviously homosexual. they were basically playing grabass.
I say they were emo by the hair over one eye and the tight pants. they were straightedge by the tatoo'd x's. They yelled at me and they started going towards my car, and thats how i noticed the bats. This wasn't exactly in the middle of the day either. Shit it was months ago too. Why the comments nao?

but damn they were big!

DESTROY THEM.

I wish I could punch emo music.

And Hardcore.

AND Screamo.

It's all the same: yelling, screaming, grown men moaning like little schoolgirls about they're supposedly shitty life and how everything is against them and they could solve the problem by wearing dumb dark shit and intentionally gay-ass hairstyles JUST to be different.

Usually emos are formerly rich kids that have ONE mildly bad thing happen to them in their lifetime and immediately have no hope or care for living.

Pretty gay if you ask me.

Emos, dry your eyes, clean up the running mascara, grow some balls, and take it like a man. SHIT HAPPENS. It's alright to have emotions, but to expose them to society in the way you guys do is obviously silly. Go listen to some Skynyrd and get yer head inta gear.
