I've been turned on to another band that I must say is one of the most talented bands I have ever heard in my life; Protest the Hero. They have two albums out, Kezia and Fortress, and they are so musically gifted it's insane. The guitarists Luke Hoskins and Tim Millar play some of the most dizzying riffs conceivable. If you are a fan of progressive metal and are not turned off by a high singing voice with the occasional death growl, I seriously recommend Protest the Hero.
You know what....I've always been a fan of hard rock and metal, I grew up to Metallica, Iron Maiden, and some of the more mainstream stuff. Well a couple of years ago, my friend turned me on to a band named Dragonforce, so I bought Sonic Firestorm. I LOVED it, it was awesome, epic, fast, everything...Then, I bought Inhuman Rampage and I thought they were done. There were, like, 3 good songs on the entire album! I didn't enjoy it anymore. Well, I got Ultra Beatdown and ugh........THEY'RE BACK! Dragonforce has returned to the glorious sound of sonic firestorm. I fully recommend this album to anyone who has ever liked Dragonforce.
Hey, I made a new group and it could really use some members. BB King just doesn't get recognized anymore and I think he needs to be remembered. If you haven't heard him before, just go to youtube and look for him, some of his more recognized work is "How Blue Can Ya Get?" and "The Thrill is Gone". You should join.
Hey, I'm not great at guitar, actually I've just somehow learned a bunch of techniques and don't really know how to string it together yet, so if anyone has some advice for me on how to play some actual music that would be great. Right now my, um, "music", is more like strategically placed sounds.
