Did a one-off with my brother on drums a while ago, found the files again and decided to upload. Basically laid down a simple rhythm track and recorded a first-take solo for fun! This is the complete track with drums and rhythm guitar as well as solo. I've been listening to a lot of Terry Riley lately, and Pat Metheny's performance of Steve Reich's "Electric Counterpoint" has been spending time in my iPod. This is a 6:20 improvisation that draws influence from both those sources, staying in the ambient sort of vein without being... well, "ambient." It's a chilled-out piece, so don't expect a rocker!
