There is not really much to tell about me. I am a beginner blues guitar player. I have been wanting to play the blues for quite sometime. I actually started playing the 6 string guitar and I am interested in playing the blues. I wanted to learn when I was young until now but never could find the right teacher that I felt knew what it was like when they first started. Some teachers teach you like you were born with the guitar in your hand. But recently I found the perfect teacher, and he is on the net. He is a great teacher, I have watched ALL of his videos. He takes his time teaching. His teaching methods are very professional. Very detailed. I am learning alot from him, and have become a big fan of his. His name is Marty Schwartz. He has his own style of teaching that I find its going to be great to learn to play. I am actually going to order his dvds for my son so he can have his own set of dvds and he can learn right with me. I could go on and on about Marty Schwartz and how wonderful it is to have seen his videos, but you can check him out for yourself at his website, here is the link. www.guitarjamz.com He makes you feel as though each and every video he teaches in he made just for you, he makes it personal through the videos. I wish the internet was around like this when I was very young. Cause of Marty was on it like now, I would have invested my time in learning from him then investing it in getting into trouble. hahahaha. Check out Marty, I am sure you will order some of his videos. www.guitarjamz.com
I like B.B King, I have met Buddy Guy when I was a limousine chauffeur when Buddy and his band came to play in the area. I got the priviledge of driving him to and from his gig. My son loves the blues too at 14, and when I mentioned this to buddy, he gave me a pick, signed the back of it and said to give it to my son. so I did and he framed the pick which was pretty cool. I live in the woods in the pocono mountains, so when i get a cheap amp, I can turn it up and nobody but the birds will hear me. I guess I better look up if playing outside, i may get some some white stuff dropped on my head instead of my jeep.
