Well, if you're playing an ascending hammer-on lick, you just hammer as you would normally, if we were to lift the finger fretting the lower note, the notes would be disjointed, which is something we want to avoid in most cases. There's essentially no change when ascending on a single string, and if you're changing strings, the aim would be to hammer from nowhere or pick with as little attack as is possible.

Trills are possible, but you'll probably only really manage them with the index and middle fingers.

Remember, you don't remove pull-offs entirely. You don't use them where you don't need to, and you minimise the pull movement when they are needed. There will be times that you'll either have to add a pickstroke or a pull-off to maintain the level.

Sorry, I didn't quite understand the question. Can you try to phrase it a little better?

Hey man sorry I never got back to you on your comment, I never noticed it before haha. It's a BC Rich Chuck Schuldiner stealth, its not actually mine though, its at a music store by my college.

I thought that his stealth model had looked different than that, like the "Bottom" of it was less steamlined than I remember... But anyway, Yeah. :haha:

oh they were sooo good =] DT's setlist was amazing and they played the most amazing new medley at the end, it was like a career spanning medley with stuff like the dance of eternity, and older stuff like caught in a web, and it ended with Razor's edge off Octavarium
