Yeah I was thinking about that. There's an acoustic video on Youtube of it (it's not the full song though) and it looks like the first chord is shaped like an Am (in standard) but it doesn't quite sound right. I think I've also now got the little picking thing in the intro too. I don't think I'll try anymore Firewind, it's a lot harder and I just don't have the ear for it. This chord based stuff isn't so bad.
