Yes! And since no one can interview Dead about his work with Mayhem, I guess to make a documentary about Mayhem, you'd have to interview most members who didn't really know him as well (cause they can't quite interview Euronymous now either :P) Did you see the bonus Black Metal feature on the DVD of Metal: A Headbanger's Journey? It was cool, compared to the original Black Metal bit on the DVD itself, it went into far more detail. | ya know i think i did see that one, it was interesting. id like to find some more black metal documentary's.. there's something epic and evil about them.. and of coarse the music.

Hey man, great artists! I'm watching that movie you listed in your favourites, "True Norwegian Black Metal". They seem to talk about Gorgoroth as if they are the most controversial Black Metal band that's been around, with hardly any mention of Mayhem, did you notice that too? | totally, i think its because gorgroth is the most interesting and crazy with ghaal being a fag, drinking blood/wine and being inspired by... SATAN. that's not to say Gorgoroth is a better band, i would agree mayhem is much better in almost every way.

Hey man, I just saw your post regarding Crust Black Metal. A crusty-Black Metal band would be the last two albums by Darkthrone; The Cult is Alive, as well as F.O.A.D.
It's Black Metal with plenty of Crust Punk influence in the music. |
Yeah, I know Darkthrone, but thanks anyway!

I know what you mean, man. Too many people I know don't listen to metal, or even know a thing about it. I have one friend who just classifies genres, but not sub-genres. He sees no difference between NWOBHM, Thrash, Death, or Black Metal, yet he calls himself open-minded. I should move to Massachusetts, so I'd know at least one person who listens to good music. | [quote u='brentondig' d='Sep 10th, 2008 11:32pm']
