AC DC - with Bon Scott, went down hill when he died. 'Powerage' - best album.
Steely Dan - Gaucho and Aja, excellent musicianship
Donald Fagen - keyboard player and singer from Steely Dan, The Nightfly and Kamakiriad are his best albums.
Kings of Leon - Youth and Youngmanhood.

Bill Nelson - only in Be Bop though. Lost the plot on his solo ventures.
Bernie Torme - Checkout the 'Electric Gypsies' album, awesome
JJ Cale - Supine, backporch music at its very best. His best album is Shades.
Frank Zappa - a one off. Joes Garage, Sheik Yerbouti and You Is What You Am are my favourite albums of his.
