Well, in my personal opinion, Synster plays alot better than Matt. Syn took a music course and has a degree in it. Matt learned off of a DVD. Yeah Matt plays fast and can play good, but Synyster is one of the fastest guitarsists out there. and he has way more versatility than matt.

Well it depends what ur playing. If your playing Unholy Confessions thats cake. But if your playing The Beast and the Harlot solo, (or most of their solos) then its ALOT harder. I can play pretty much every Trivium song. Not ALL of em, but alot. and when I try to play Avenged, I have more trouble because there are so many sweeps and techniques. Trivium dont have that.
