Well ive had my Epiphone Les Paul Special ll now for a year. I Love it soo much. But overall now i have been playing for 2 years and i want a new guitar. I love dean ML's and Les Paul's. So i would love either a Dean From Hell CFH or an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Bullseye and replace the pickups to an EMG 81/85 active set . I have around £700 to spend and these guitars have blown me away, what do you think? My Influences are Zakk Wylde Buckethead Dime Mustaine Slash Jimmy page Tom morello and Hank marvin. I play everything metal----->classic rock Id really appreciate feedback from people in the same position as me or any one who justs want to have a say!!
700 pounds??? holy shit that is like 1400 in american dollars! you can actually prolly afford a gibson robot SG, but if you really don't like those, an Lp is better for classic rock, but i would personaly choose the dean from hell, just like the one in your profile pic, that one is nice
I really want to give you advice, its not for bashing you as a person.
Do me a favor, and test your guitar befor you buy. AND test more guitars than those two you are looking for.
Im 99% sure that you will find something for under 700£ that will play better and sound better than the ML or the ZW.
But than again, even if you tested, im 99% sure you will buy the ML or ZW, because you want the guitar of your hero. I have been there too. I regret it. PLEASE, test!
