flyingmarlin wrote on Aug 31st, 2011 4:14pmRight now, from the 9v input I have the red/positive wire coming from input to the input jack tip/hot.
The black/negative wire from the 9v input is attached to the resistor marked R12 on the schematic
As for the jack sockets,
The aforementioned input hot/tip is connected to the positive 9v terminal.
The input Sleeve (?) of the socket is attached to the SW1A part of the switch
The output jacks tip/hot is connected to the SW1B at the middle position.
The output sleeve is connected to earth.
And that's about it really, excuse me if I'm not being too helpful, I'm very new to this! quote |
flyingmarlin wrote on Aug 31st, 2011 4:13pmHello there,
Right, this is the schematic I'm following: http://www.generalguitargadgets.com...044a 841b3e85a
I believe that I have correctly constructed the components in the correct fashion, however I'm getting either noise and silence whenever I try to test it.
I believe the issue is either in how the 9v attaches or the input/outputs. Whilst I love electronics, i know next to nothing about circuits etc. And with this being my first pedal build I'm up shit creek haha! quote |

So thanks. quote |
