Well well, the masters are back in the studio since a few weeks ago. Let me tell you something, they are my favorite band, and IM SURE, their next record will be beyond the wildest expectation. Their last album "Systematic Chaos" , rocked my and some other million people's world, with its kinda new age progressive metal and their awsome and some of them, impossible to belive riffs, but i was kinda disappointed with it somehow, because, if you look back and see what they've done in the past, you realize that this record its maybe not one of their best.

Petrucci its an awsome guitar player, no doubt about it, and he's my God, but for this record, many things were kinda similar to what other bands are doing right now. The heavy stuff cant be heavier these days, songs like The Dark Eternal Night, and In The Presence Of Enemies Pt. I and II are proof of that, but i think, and its MY VERY PERSONAL OPINION, that they are not such a new thing. DT its always on the move, and all of their records are different from the last and, of course, different from everything else, but "Systematic Chaos", even if its awsome, its like a filling album for DT's collection. Dont misunderstand me, i loved it, my favorite song its The Ministry Of Lost Souls, but everything else its not that new on people's ears.
