Megadeth is by far better, more technical, and even more complex, Metallica is bigger in the world of sellouts music (MTV and shit like that), but Megadeth is bigger in the world of Metal.

Rust in peace was good, I looked back over all of megadeth, my opinion has not changed. Their new album is pretty decent. But metallica is still way better because I dont like a band just cuz they have good guitar riffs, I like metallica better because they focus more on actual notes and melodies instead of just taking the best out of their guitars. And once again, Dave cant sing

All of Megadeths music is really boring and bland and runs together like one big jumbled mess, none of the songs have their own feel and attitude, that, mixed with Dave's incessant idiotic ramblings is why Megadeth is inferior to Metallica.

Metallica only had 4 good albums, the first 4, but any of those albums alone are better than all of Magotbreath's albums put together. Dave Mustaine is a whiney, no talent hack who is only famous in the first place because he was in Metallica to begin with. Bottom line: Megadeth sucks donkey dick and metallica rocks......My thoughts have been told, keep rockin' \m/....
Trying to say Megadeth sucks because you like Metallica is quite the childish and shallow way to view music. I don't like Metallica...simply because they don't entertain me. I still respect them and won't hesitate to listen to any songs from them I do like. The "war" between both bands is a "war" between wannabe metal-heads that think skill, time-lines and fame is equal to "better". As much as I hate his "music", Bieber (for the sake of a relevant example) is famous and successful for looks, mass advertising and target marketing. Soon from now another "boy wonder" will hit the scene and "Beliebers" will shoot him down because he was "first" and is "cuter". Music is what you want to hear. No band/musician "sucks" unless they don't try or sell out and ONLY play for cash.
P.S. Mustaine isn't know the world over for being in Metallica, He and Megadeth (all members past and present) are known and loved world-wide because of Metallica.
