I live for music and I hate crap that isnt music like rap, Hannah Montana, pointless talentless pop, stuff like that that isnt music but people think it is.
I'm in a band Called "FLY (Freaks Like You) right now, and we are an Alternative/Rock/Some Metal band. I'm the lead singer and sometimes screamer, and I play rhythm guitar but I take some solos. We have learned a few songs and written three, we also have more to come after that for parties. Maybe a lot more, stuff changes fast, and it's hard to stay posted
If ya ever see me (which you wont, common sense or Im just rotting in school) I'm probably wearing these kind of emo (but not tight) black or real dark blue jeans and black normal converses, and then Ive probably got a band tee on. All day I rot in school (as I get Straight A's through the whole year, actually not anymore- 8th grade sucks) for 7 hours and then I go home and do another 7 useless hours of homework (not really, but still, it feels that way).
I like Scream-o but only like Bullet for My Valentine, Early A7X, Killswitch, some Slipknot, All that Remains, Five finger Death Punch, Shadows fall and a bit more. I dont like Screamo that has, like, the gurgling noises and frog noises like croaking or something (but I can actually make all those anyways ). Its just ugly and bad sounding. I like the straight up scream like with BFMV and anything like that, but nothing else. Like, for example, Opeth and Job for a Cowboy etc. are disgusting and its terrible and it sounds like crap.
Although I love it, theres a lot about guitar that just pisses me off and I dont understand it. Like with scales, I practise them and stuff but how do I use them??? Whats the point??? Theres a lot of other stuff. Probably I have this problem because Im self taught- maybe not. I just cant get into improvisation soloing either, and thats a complete other story...
