I went to SUNY in Binghamton, NY last night to watch the Foo Fighters kick some ass. The show opened with the band Against Me. They were new to me but they were pretty good. Next it was Serj Tankian and he rocked! I saw SOAD live on the Ozzfest in 02 and I remember being somewhat dissapointed, mostly with Daron, but Serj's band last night was better live than SOAD! I counld'nt believe it. Dave and the boys rocked the place, of course. It was my first time seeing the Foos and I was impressed. The played old, new, acoustic and electric stuff. On many songs they had an extended band which included a violinist and Pat Smear on backup guitar! It was an all around great time.
