There are few things that make me more irritated than spending a handful of minutes thinking through and typing out a well-constructed, thoughtful post, proofreading it, and clicking Submit Reply...
...Only to find out that in the amount of time I spend typing, the mods have swooped in and closed and/or deleted the thread because they thought it was stupid.
I don't like wasting brainpower on a response that no one will even read.
Note: I am in no way attacking the mods. I love the mods here. I just hate having threads closed on me. Also: I know this is silly. That's why it's a blog, you silly.
