i'm into metal mostly but i also enjoy other genres so hit me up and talk music with me! im 17 at the moment and ive been playing for 5 years. i'm not really confident about my playing but a lot of my friends say i'm good but who know? :3 anyway i love music and i also love ppl. i'm learning theory right now. and thinking of making a song or too. theory is a little confusing but i think im getting it. either way. i'm mexican. but sadly im kinda white washed so instead of growing up liking the spanish mariachi bands i grew up with classic rock. i started with oldies such as the beach boys. found 80'2 rock then 80's metal. then from then on i got into deeper and darker stuff each passing year. i started playing guitar when i was 12. i was listening to i think it was black sabbath parinoid and i told mother the same day mom get me a rock and roll guitar. i started out with an acoustic then after months of whining mom got me my first electric. a red strat. great guitar. i found the bands metallica and sabbath soon after and started learning the songs little by little. i learned from different places from teachers to friends to a local music school but in the end most of what i know i learned my self. the first rock cd i bought was ride the lightning by metallica. (mom made me throw it away thinking it was devil worship....) i loved that album and from then on i my skills grew and grew and now i am where i wanted to be when i first started playing. a rock and roll guitar player.
