I'm bad =[

Okay, well... It's been a while since I've last posted on this thing. I'm a bit ashamed of myself, I haven't really played as much as I wanted to this past week. Not sure how that happened to be honest. Oh well.

Anyhow, I've been pretty much playing Wonderwall and Linger like a beast whenever I have the chance. There are other songs too I've been practicing, but they're a bit more complicated I guess? I dunno. Either way, I've become a little better with the singing part I mean, I'm still shaky.. but slowing down the tempo definitely helped, lol. Should have thought of that in the first place, then humming the tune worked, too... soo yeah! I've accomplished something. I'm not a total failure.

So is it possible to lose some skills? Haha. I tried barring again... I can still do it, but it doesn't.. I guess the term is "resonate" like a regular chord I play. Dunno... it worked before, and now.. I don't exactly know what I'm doing. It sounds kind of like a mix of the sound then a palm mute. Anyone else used to have that problem? Or is it just me? Am I a bad girl for not practicing??

PS. Any songs you think would be good for a beginner to learn would be greatly appreciated

Cool cool; slowing the tempo down works every time!!! (you can't play it fast 'till ya can play it slow!) As far as the barring; try pressing down harder with that index finger -really dig in (you should be able to sound all 6 strings with your index barring them -I know you can do it!!) And try to keep it parallel with the frets, too (hopefully this will be more comfortable for you). -Also remember to play with the fingerTIPS... And yes, I'm sorry, but you are a bad girl for not practicing!!! Don't end up a wanker like me!!! Practice that shits!!! Heehee; when I was beginning, Sabbath always built up my confidence. Come on, "Ironman"? .....People that have never picked up a git-fiddle can play that tune, sheesh!.... Naw, kidding.. Sabbath, Nirvana stuff wasn't too bad, Metallica's stuff.... Honestly, just pick something... anything.... If you can hear it in your head, you'll be able to play it over time.... Most important= HAVE FUN

Well, if you want some east songs to play.. "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Metallica was HELLA easy for me to learn when i frist started. "Smoke on the Water" is also another choice for begginers. and thats all i can think of at this moment. Sorry..if i think of more i will let you know. :)
