So i was at download in 2005 and one of those random nights i was walking round the campsite. A few people were shouting "*Iiiiive* got a MySpace!" and replies a few hundred metres away of "IIIVEEEE got a MYSPACE!"
myspace was huge, and is still pretty big but i think its peaked and the majority of the people i know dont actually use it anymore.
Seems as though now its just a giant unsigned band promotion tool, which was good at first but now its only other bands u seem to be advertising to! my own band is obviously involved in this. And theres all those "promotion companies" and "record labels" who are actually 14 yr olds who want free band merch and think they can change the music scene. but i wont rant about that
at the mo my band is trying to find a new vocalist, which is proving to be pretty hard, and all i can suggest doing is posting one of these and hoping someone responds
as you can tell im a bit bored so thought id have a rant about somehting which appears to be going nowhere. until some clever sod comes up with a new fresh idea like Myspace was in the beginning suppose ill have to keep thinking myself......
well, iv not posted a blog as such before but here goes, just what i think of this whole new aspect to the website and stuff.

whats all this about then? iv uploaded 2 samples of some random stuff i came up with, but not exactly sure what to do with them. If anyone has ideas, let me know. rate it and ill tell u if anything exciting happens
my contributions
i uploaded a tab a while back for the bassist of my band to look at so he could learn the parts if we ever needed him to step up. thats all so far but im planning on doing some reviews soon so if ypou have any suggestions ill see if i have an opinion on said topic/album/gear.
other than all these few things im getting the hang of this page and reckon its a proper good idea to have.
