chokmool wrote on Apr 21st, 2009 9:24pm Nice clean, shall I say elemental. I don't really like commenting too much, because it will just be my opinion, and we both know what that's worth. I will agree with the people who want to here it "expanded" more. If it doesn't work, you can always cut it back again. I was thinking, if I was in a cozy upscale restaurant with my girl, it would be nice the way it is. Maybe 2 versions? quote |
jasonggabbott wrote on Apr 3rd, 2009 4:29am Man, this is groooovvvvy! I dig how it hops along without a care in the world. Your guitar play is exceptional as always, the tone on that guitar ROCKS! Maybe ditch the piano and add another guitar track? Maybe some tapping to take the place of the piano. I am not a big piano fan, so maybe I should just be quiet. quote |
king_dave wrote on Mar 29th, 2009 12:10pm Hey mate! Good to hear more of you stuff!
Haha, that keyboard behind the bass riff is kinda trippy... I like it
Nice bluesy solos! It's also good to hear the steel string acoustic!
Cool title too LOL quote |
dhalstead@pacif wrote on Mar 24th, 2009 10:48am It sorta sounds like two songs playing at once. They go off on different paths then they come back again. I love the acoustic work and towards the end of the song the backing track becomes irrelevant. I dunno what to make of it at the end!
But I love your dversity, ideas and courage to try new things.
Cheers, Danny quote |
LedDaveZeppelin wrote on Mar 23rd, 2009 6:28pm Yea the keyboard does go a bit out of scale. But I love the feel you have got going on. I haven't heard anything like this from you. It is always a nice surprise, you've always got something different. Love all the acoustic stuff you have been doing! quote |
salmon philippe wrote on Mar 22nd, 2009 6:38am Very nice groove and feeling
Nonetheless I have some critics , may I ?
1) The piano plays a scale that does not feet with the pentatonic impro. of the guitar (more blues than jazz , guys ) and it hurts my ears cause I know jazz quite well
2) there is a little delay between the drums and guitar (latence) you may correct on your recording software quote |
DougM wrote on Mar 21st, 2009 10:03pm Holy crap is that you on an acoustic? very nice and if it where a cartoon theme I can see you as the main character. Seriously tho nice work. quote |
